It’s time to take the Trippinar to the the Pyrenees, the mountains that divide France and Spain. Leod Escapes has been riding here for over 10 years. This wild region is Europes “other” mountain range that most of the world doesn’t know about. They combine endlessly twisty, well‑maintained mountain roads with huge variety in scenery, culture, and suiting different riding styles within a relatively compact area. You get big‑alp drama without Alps‑level traffic or prices, plus the option to hop between the unique worlds of France and Spain each day. The Spanish side tends to be warmer and drier, while the French side is cooler and greener; if the weather closes in on one side you can often escape it by crossing a pass. What an awesome place to practice your motorcycle and travel skills.
How much and what’s included?
6 Nights in 4 Star hotels are included. It’s more than about clean comfort. The hotels are in the right location with included GOOD breakfast. Rental motorcycle is included. Base bikes are F800GS and F900R but there’s a wide of BMW upgrades. The package include access to YCRS ChampU and time with coaches on tour for live feedback. Leod Escapes will provide you with a Chatterbox X2 Slim Radio to use with your Squadron and when a riding coach joins your small group. Your rental bike included a GPS with all the routes loaded. You’ve got a road book with all the routes listed to help you and your squadron choose your adventure for the day. Prices start at $5700.
What’s the YCRS aspect like on tour?
- This is not the same as taking a ChampSchool or ChampStreet course
- The guest coach is there to reinforce what you’ve learned from your ChampU online course
- You can request some one on one coaching with realtime feedback over the radio com
- Using your YCRS skills on real world challenging roads is practical and loads of fun

What’s it like?
You will train in Europes hidden motorcycle playground, the Pyrenees, like a European. You’ll learn about routing, rentals, what to pack, where to stay, how to eat, cultural barriers, cameras, traffic norms, and of course how to get by when you don’t speak the language. Time to learn some Catalan. Instructors and coaches are here for you to work with to improve your riding and your travel skills.You should be an intermediate to advanced skilled rider and who views obstacles as a chance for adventure. This event is created by 14 year tour operator veteran Cat MacLeod. Someone from Motorcycles & Misfits podcast will get a turn to help teach valuable motorcycle tips in 2026 as well.
