Cancelation Policy

We try to be fair. Our reputation matters more than a few bucks and we want you to be happy. None the less we have to have a basic cancelation policy.

Deposit:  A deposit of around 30% of the tour cost is charged to reserve your spot on a tour/tripinar.  This reserves spot at the rates and dates specified for the tour/tripinar.  If you signed up before December 31st in the current year for next year before dates are confirmed you can get your deposit back within 30 days of us confirming your dates for the tour.  Once the dates are confirmed, your deposit is used to reserve your touring motorcycle, accommodations, track fees, pitbox, trackbike, luggage van, guides,  etc..At that point the deposit is non-refundable but can be used for another tour/tripinar the same of following year.  Realize that Leod Escapes often can’t get money back from vendors, or suppliers so we loose money when you cancel.

Installment Plans:  We use WeTravel as it gives you the flexibilty on paying your tour/Tripinar in installments, not a large lump sum at one time.  The total is broken into 2 installments for Tripinars and 4 installments for Tour & Track.  Other people can also contribute to paying for your tour – say as a birthday fund.

Balance:  The balance of your tour/tripinar is due 45 days before the tour start date.  You can also pay in full before that time.

Canceling: Any cancellation over 45 days before the confirmed tour start date, you will loose only the deposit OR it can be used for another tour/Tripinar the same year or the following year.  Any cancellation under 45 days you will not receive any money back. To secure special rates with vendors we have to pay deposits which are often non-refundable or come with a cancellation charge, and we must pay our vendors/suppliers in full usually 30-60 days before you arrive, so we cannot get money back from our vendors.  If you must cancel Leod Escapes allow and encourages you to transfer “sell” your spot to a friend.  Leod Escapes values our reputation among the motorcycling community and from enthusiastic customers.  It’s not in our benefit to operate at a loss, but it is in our best interest that you feel you are treated in a fair and equitable manner.  If Leod Escapes cancels a tour due to not enough participants to run it, we encourage you to transfer your booking to another Tour/Tripinar that year, or we will refund your money in full.
