Arrival Airport: Rome – The Fiumicino (FCO) also called Leonardo da Vinci International Airport
Arrival: no later than (3pm or 15:00 local time)
Departure: no earlier than 2pm local time
The Eternal City of Rome is a destination in and of itself, you may want to arrive early or stay on later after the tour.  Inquire with us and we can book it for you at a better rate.
Purchase Airfare: You should generally purchase Airfare 3-9 months before departure. We find direct flight from Iberia or Alitalia are the best, but shop around as ticket pricing always fluctuates. We find kayak.com a handy way to look at the overall market, then sometimes check direct on certain carrier websites once you’ve found some routes work for you.

If you like phone apps to track pricing: http://www.hopper.com/
We also recommend you buy trip or have travel insurance.  Things happen, trips can get interrupted, luggage can get lost for days, and rarely is a tour cancelled, only if we do not have enough people to run them.  Protect yourself and buy travel/ trip protection insurance. This can be done through our suggested international medical insurance provider and also some credit cards offer this, but do read the fine print. Credit card companies can sometimes be very restrictive in an effort not to pay.
